This 2 Day untamed wildlife safari takes you yo Uganda’s smallest savanna National Park. Lake Mburo National Park is located in the southwestern Uganda, between masaka and Mbarara. It’s a 4 hours driver from Kampala and one of the easiest National Parks to access.
Lake Mburo National Park is made of acacia woodlands, extensive wetlands, rolling hills, and rocky outcrops. The Park is known for a high population of zebras and other animals like buffalo, bushbuck, leopards, Hippos, Impala as well as different bird species.
Lake Mburo National Park is one of the National Parks were wildlife and cattle graze together. On this trip, you will have a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to look out for hippos, water birds, and crocodiles. In the Night, you will have a night Game drive to look out for different animals.

An afternoon Boat ride and Night Game drive
In the morning at 6:00am, you will be picked up to start your drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The driver guide will brief you more about the 2 Days Wildlife Safari. You will go through towns like Lyantonde and Masaka. On arrival in the park, continue for lunch at any hotel or lodge, then proceed for the afternoon boat cruise on lake Mburo. You will have a great time having a chance to see different animals like the crocodiles, hippos, topis and birds like the fish eagles. In the night, you go for a game drive which offers a thrilling opportunity to spot animals like hynas, bush babies, leopards, among other animals. After your night Game drive, transfer to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Nature Walk and transfer to Kampala
Have an early morning breakfast and start off for a guided nature walk through the park. During this time, you will have the opportunity to explore and see different animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species. After your nature walk, you will drive out of park, and head to Kampala, having a stopover in Masaka for lunch and proceed to Kampala, with a drop at your residence or at the airport which marks the end of your Safari.
