This primate Safari starts in Kampala or Entebbe and ends in Kigali. It includes 1 Chimpanzee permit for Kibale National Park and 1 Gorilla Permit for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The tour features Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Kibale National Park is home to over 1500 chimpanzees, and Bwindi is home to over 380 Mountain Gorillas. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a famous conservation area with avariety of wildlife species and the Kazinga Channel. Whether you are embarking on your first African adventure, this tour will allow you to have a lifetime experience.
The cost of your private transfers, Driver guide allowance, accommodation, Meals, Park entrance fees, Chimpanzee permit, Gorilla Permit, and necessary government taxes is all included in the Safari Cost.
In the morning, the driver guide will pick you up from your hotel to transfer to Kibale National Park. You will take the quickest and popular route via Mubende and Fort portal. Enjoy beautiful views of the typical African village setup, tea estates, and vibrant towns along the drive ways. On arrival, you will check into your lodge then later head out for a simple community Village Tour before retiring Dinner and overnight.

Our guide will pick you up from the hotel to go trek the habituated chimpanzees in Kibale. The Morning (AM) Chimp trekking starts at 8 starting from Kanyanchue visitor area. After briefing, you will be guided to trek in Kabale rainy forest which is home to over 1500 Chimpanzees. The forest walk is quite interesting and besides the Chimpanzees, it features other primate species like the red-tailed monkeys, red colobus monkeys among others.
After your Chimpanzee Trekking activity, you will have lunch then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famously known for a high wildlife concentration and Kazinga Channel. You will transfer to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Start the day with an early game drive in the Kasenyi plains to look out for animals such as Elephants, lions, Buffalos, Leopards, Uganda kobs etc. The best time of the day for the morning Game drives is around 6:30AM as animals are active during cooler hours. You will also enjoy a rich bird life and thereafter go for lunch. After lunch you will go for 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George - Lake Edward.
A boat cruise along the kazinga Channel offers a unique wildlife experience. Animals to look out for include Hippos, Elephants, Crocodiles, buffalos and abundant bird life. The boat cruise rewards you with beautiful landscapes, lush vegetation and viewing local fishing communities. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will have breakfast then drive to the Gorilla Park of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Ishasha is known for the tree-climbing lions. The Ishasha is a beautiful landscape with savannah woodland tree species. The Lions in the Ishasha sector make the highlight of the Safari in the Area.
You will continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and on arrival, you will check into your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and overnight.

On this day, you will be trekking the endangered Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – a lifetime experience. You will be oriented about the trekking before going for a hike in Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforest.
In the company of the park ranger, you will set off to trek one of the habituated Gorilla Families. The trekking is done through forested slopes, thick vegetation and bamboo forests.
Once the family of mountain gorillas has been located, you will be allowed to enjoy an hour with the gentle giants, quietly observing how they feed, play and interact within the family. After trekking you will return to the lodge for relaxation.

Have breakfast in the morning, then check out of the lodge for your transfer to your Hotel in Kigali or Kigali International Airport which marks the end of your Safari.
