Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi & Transfer to Amboseli National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will meet your safari guide for a short briefing about your adventure ahead. You will then travel south toward Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic countryside views along the way.

After arriving at your lodge and settling in, enjoy lunch and some relaxation time. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the park’s open plains. Keep watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and many other animals as the sun sets behind Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Maasai Cultural Experience

Start your day with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak. Your guide will help you spot different species while sharing interesting facts about the ecosystem.

In the afternoon, visit a nearby Maasai village where you will learn about local traditions, daily life, and cultural practices. This experience offers a deeper understanding of Kenya’s heritage. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Guided Walking Safari & Evening Game Drive

Today begins with a guided walking safari led by experienced rangers. Walking through nature allows you to notice smaller details such as animal tracks, plants, and birdlife that are often missed during vehicle safaris.

After some rest at the lodge, head out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. As the day cools down, predators and other animals become more active, offering excellent photography opportunities.

Day 4: Hot Air Balloon Experience & Leisure Time

Rise early for an optional hot air balloon safari over Amboseli. As the sun rises, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of wildlife roaming the plains and the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. After landing, celebrate the experience with a bush breakfast.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge, enjoying the pool, or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings of the park.

Day 5: Return to Nairobi – End of Safari

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic drive and reflect on the unforgettable moments of your safari. You will be dropped off at the airport or your preferred location, marking the end of your 5-day Amboseli National Park adventure.
