TRIP DETAILS

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Akagera National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing about the journey ahead, begin your scenic drive east towards Akagera National Park.

Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, local villages, and green countryside. Upon arrival at the park, check into your lodge and relax while surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness. Spend the evening at leisure as you prepare for the exciting wildlife experiences ahead.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Start your day early with a guided morning game drive through Akagera’s vast savannah plains. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, and you may spot elephants moving through the bush, giraffes browsing on treetops, zebras grazing in open areas, and predators such as lions or leopards resting in the shade.
